Butterbox Point with Alan

Between Christmas and New Year I scored up enough brownie points to get a pass out with my good friend, fellow Pentaxian, local photographer and Upper Mountains Camera Club president… Mr Alan Daniels. We had a couple of walks to choose from (weather dependent) and in the end opted for ‘Butterbox Point’ near Mount Hay.
With overcast and slightly windy conditions it was not obvious which creative direction I would steer the images in until Alan pointed out a charred black bush against a bright white rock surface, suggesting it would make a mono treat. High contrast mono it was then! Thanks Alan!
